The Phil is the first purpose-built Victorian pub in England to be given Grade I listed status for its outstanding architectural quality and magnificent interior, including its famous gents toilets! Spread over five floors, each of its rooms are beautifully decorated with a musical theme, which have subsequently hosted performances from global music icons including Buddy Holly and Paul McCartney.
