The Fabric District CIC searches for new Physical and Green Regeneration Lead

The Fabric District has an opportunity available in the role of Physical and Green Regeneration Lead.

Actively consulted by Liverpool City Council on all planning applications in the area, the Fabric District CIC Board is delighted to announce its search for a new member to take on this exciting position, which is perfect for anyone with planning, regeneration or built environment experience.

The Fabric District CIC, which sits within the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool Innovation District, was set up in 2017 by a group of local stakeholders who were passionate about regenerating the London Road and Islington areas of Liverpool.

This area has a proud history and is a key gateway into the city centre, as well as Lime Street Station, The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, The University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

The area has a mixture of long-established textile and creative businesses plus emerging start-ups and bars and restaurants. The Fabric District is also home to many buildings that represent Liverpool’s heritage, including Audley House (the TJ Hughes store) and the Clock Tower on London Road.

If you would like to find out more and apply for this exciting, voluntary role, please send your CV and a cover letter to: info@fabricdistrict.co.uk, setting out why you’re interested in getting involved and how you meet the requirements set out in the role profile.

The closing date for applications is 5 November 2021.
