To celebrate World Environment Day, WSP launched a new Knowledge Quarter Liverpool Walking Guide, highlighting enjoyable walks and practical routes around the area. Walking is a great form of exercise with health and well-being benefits – and our new Walking Guide encourages you to see new places and landmarks in our iconic city centre. And of course, walking is carbon neutral and the most sustainable form of travel available!
Our new Walking Guide with its short and simple routes links organisations across the Knowledge Quarter. Handy charts show how walking can help clock up the steps and burn off the calories. And there are four suggested routes you can follow on your lunch break – so go online (https://kqliverpool.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/KQ-Walking-Guide-Digital-File.pdf) or look out for hard copies at locations across the Knowledge Quarter and get walking today!
WSP is an international multidisciplinary engineering and planning consultancy with expertise in sustainable transport solutions. We are pleased to be a supporter of the Knowledge Quarter Sustainability Network and our Liverpool Transport Planning team are delighted to be working with key partners in promoting active travel for all. We would be happy to discuss any active travel and sustainable transport plans and ideas with you.
